LxAM’s “Get Out My Way” Marks New Step for Winnipeg’s Rising Dance Producer

WINNIPEG, Manitoba — Winnipeg producer LxAM is closing out 2026 with a major release opportunity. The 17-year-old artist, born Liam Harvey, will release his new single “Get Out My Way” on December 11 via Liftoff Recordings, the independent dance music label founded by Disco Fries.

The record continues LxAM’s emerging run in vocal house music after “I Just Wanna Dance” earned placement on Spotify’s Bangers editorial playlist. His new release is built around a direct vocal, strong melodic hook and 128 BPM rhythm, turning the tension of a difficult relationship into a track designed for movement.

“‘Get Out My Way’ is about realizing that you cannot keep letting someone else control your direction,” LxAM said. “It is emotional, but it is also meant to feel freeing and confident.”

Liftoff Recordings provides the young Canadian artist with an international platform. Founded in 2013 by Nick Ditri and Danny Boselovic of Disco Fries, the label has released music from developing dance artists and established producers alike. Disco Fries’ production and remix work includes Tiësto, Katy Perry, Britney Spears, Selena Gomez and Flo Rida.

LxAM’s name combines his first name, Liam, with an “X” representing creative experimentation. Rooted in Winnipeg, with time also spent in Miami, he is developing a sound that combines emotional songwriting with club energy.
